DIRECTIONS & TRAVEL TIPS
8 Range Road, Hebron, NH 03241-7230

It's easy to get to Coppertoppe once you know the way. Do not trust your GPS if it suggests shortcuts or "some parts unpaved" roads. Every road on a legitimate route has a Federal or State number until you get to North Shore Road in Hebron, New Hampshire.

From Boston, MA, or points south, take I-93 to exit 23 west on Route 104 towards Bristol, NH.
As 104 swoops through Bristol center, it joins Route 3A north. After the traffic light in Bristol (the only real one in the Newfound Lake region), go north on 3A 8.25 miles to North Shore Road. You will see a blue tourism direction sign for Coppertoppe before the junction. Turn left onto North Shore Road (the only way it goes, along the north shore of the lake). Range Road is on the second right. You will see a mailbox that looks like a yellow house, and a Coppertoppe B&B sign on the tree behind the Range Road street sign. Go uphill almost a half mile and Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat is the yellow house (the only house) at the top of the hill. Come into the entry porch, push the button by the glass door, and walk in to be welcomed.

From the north on I-93, take exit 26 west on Route 25 to skim through Plymouth, NH. For a more scenic experience, get off at exit 25 and explore the charming Main Street area. Either way, go west on Route 25 for about four miles, past shopping and services to a traffic circle/roundabout, and take the second exit onto Route 3A south. It's about 6 miles to North Shore Road, past Tenney Mountain Ski Resort, and a scenic little farm. You will see a blue tourism sign and signs for the Audubon centers before the right turn onto North Shore Road. As mentioned above, Range Road is the second right.

From the west and south, as in Vermont, New York, or Connecticut, your best bet is to come off I-91 at the exit for Route 89 south. Don't blink because you will exit Route 4 shortly. Take Route 4 east until you have a choice of either going around Cardigan Mountain by Route 118 north and then Route 25 south to Route 3A south at that traffic circle/roundabout mentioned above, or continuing on Route 4 to take a left on Route 104 into Bristol at that traffic light mentioned above where you turn left onto Route 3A north. Go north on 3A 8.25 miles to North Shore Road.

There are a few other more obscure ways to get here, but these are the simplest. Trust us that you cannot get to Coppertoppe from George Road. When looking at a map of New Hampshire, assume any blank space that does not show a road or a lake is a mountain.
