Special Events

Coppertoppe has become a popular retreat for quilters, writers, artists, musicians (ask about our recording studio), healers, yoga practitioners, and church groups. We support and nurture creative and wellness activities and workshops. We enjoy having a house full of happy people and leaders working for a better world, and their joyful noise is encouraging and uplifting.

Upcoming Retreat Weekends!

Please join us at the idyllic Coppertoppe Inn in Hebron, NH on April 26-28. 2019 for a practical yet informal one-on-one-style retreat weekend with writing and publishing industry professionals in one of the most charming lakeside settings in the world.

Instructors Robyn Bennis (The Guns Above and The Fire Above -- Tor) and Gregory Norris (notable author, screenwriter, and founder of the Berlin Writers’ Group) will make this a unique experience not found in other weekend conference settings. We’ll add announcements as editors, agents, and other authors and industry professionals confirm their appearances.

If you’re willing to take a chance you might just meet the right person or hear the right words to enrich your work and your life, we are the retreat for you! Scholarships are available.

Registration Fee - $75 per day for each day of the workshop, or $200 for all three full days of the workshop will include talks and meetings with pro authors, editors, and agents. Call or email Karen to reserve a space. The lodging and meal plan are separate as below (call Coppertoppe Inn to reserve ).

Lodging - We’ve been offered a significantly reduced rate for this week/weekend of $95 per person per night (double occupancy) including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. For off-site lodgers, day trippers or commuters not staying at the Inn, make your meal-plan reservations directly with Coppertoppe at $25 per day. Your significant others are welcome. Dogs too!

Book Fair - Saturday, April 27 from 1-4 will be a book fair in Hebron -- free and open to the public! If you would like to reserve a table or booth, the fee is $25 for the day. You do not have to attend the Writers Weekend in order to participate.

We have arrangements with other lodging and venues in the area for overflow. Some have dorm style rooms. Please inquire.

Please let us know if you'd like to chat or have questions. We have a relaxing, conversational style. Places to mingle, places to hide away. Lots of good food.
