A serene retreat where guests are pampered and appreciated.
Greetings to our former and future guests. We hope you are well and flourishing.
In June of 2020, we reopened according to NH State and CDC guidelines. Coppertoppe was already considered one of the cleanest places in the world. Now we do more frequent sanitizing of surfaces in common areas. We even have travel kits guests can buy. Personal masks and gloves are used by staff and are available for guests. We diligently follow the guidelines to keep everyone safe and will continue learning new methods and materials.
Coppertoppe is a bed and breakfast. There is no outside traffic. Guests are routinely pre-registered and checked in online.
Full breakfast is available by pre-ordering before arrival. Guests may dine in the safe-spaced dining room or their rooms. Pre-ordered snacks and beverages will be available at any time. The kitchen staff follows ServSafe national food safety and hygiene standards.
Guests from outside New England will be asked to sign a statement that they have been following COVID-19 precautions. Coppertoppe accepts no liability for guest behavior.
There is so much more to tell and share. If you are interested, let’s talk.
We are eager to welcome you soon. Sheila and Bill
Newfound is one of the cleanest lakes in the world, and the fourth largest lake in New Hampshire. Pure, clean water, amazing views, state parks, waterfalls, hiking trails and the joys of Nature's Playground make visiting Coppertoppe a time away from the crush of modern life but with all the comforts of home. For more information about the Newfound Lake region visit https://newfoundlake.org/
We considered retiring a couple of years ago, but we are still having too much fun to let go. Coppertoppe is accepting reservations for the foreseeable future.
Our guests are singles, couples, families, and small groups. We are booking for micro-weddings (2 to 20), reunions, personal and group retreats. Visit our Weddings page for details and pricing. We will also be offering cooking classes and occasional creative/crafty experiences open to the public. Would you like to Zoom into a class? Let us know.
In 2020 we added Life Coaching experiences to solo retreat reservations. Sheila is a personal life coach, Tarot Card Reader, and Dowser. You can incorporate up to two hours a day of private one-on-one time as well as adding massage, Yoga, Reiki, or various classes.
From November through May, we only accept advance reservations. Extended stays get special rates, especially on weekdays. Call us directly at 603-744-3636 to get the best deals. Ask Sheila for a sampling of special packages or create your own.
We appreciate our wonderful guests, cute children and pets, creative groups, and glorious views. We hope nice people who treasure the natural bounties of the Newfound Lake Region will find as much joy here as we do. What are your favorite activities?

We understand how you feel from personal experience!
Whether you are a fussy eater, not a morning person, or love breakfast and will eat almost anything, we really want to know. How can we thrill you if we don't know what you like???
From 2 to 20, Coppertoppe is ideal for your elopement or small wedding indoors or outside year-round.
