A serene retreat where guests are pampered and appreciated.
Greetings to our former and future guests. We hope you are well and looking forward to better times.
We have reopened according to NH State and CDC guidelines. Coppertoppe was already considered one of the cleanest places in the world. Now we do more frequent sanitizing of surfaces in common areas. We even have travel kits guests can buy. Personal masks and gloves are used by staff and are available for guests. We diligently follow the guidelines to keep everyone safe and will continue learning new methods and materials.
Coppertoppe is a bed and breakfast. There is no outside traffic. Guests are routinely pre-registered and checked in online.
Full breakfast is available by pre-ordering before arrival. Guests may dine in the safe-spaced dining room or in their rooms. Pre-ordered snacks and beverages will be provided in guest rooms. The kitchen staff follows ServSafe national food safety and hygiene standards.
Guests from outside New England will be asked to sign a statement that they have been following COVID-19 safety recommendations. Coppertoppe accepts no liability for guest behavior. We trust our guests to be respectful.
There is so much more to tell and share. If you are interested, let’s talk.
We are eager to welcome you soon. Sheila and Bill
Newfound is one of the cleanest lakes in the world, the fourth largest lake in New Hampshire. Pure, clean water, amazing views, state parks, waterfalls, hiking trails and the joys of Nature's Playground make visiting Coppertoppe a time away from the crush of modern life but with all the comforts of home. For more information about the Newfound Lake region visit https://newfoundlake.org/
Although we are planning for our eventual retirement, Coppertoppe is accepting reservations for the foreseeable future. Our guests are singles, couples, families, and small groups. We are booking for weddings (2 to 20), reunions, personal and group retreats. We will also be offering cooking classes and occasional creative/crafty experiences open to the public.
We do plan to spend more time with family. From November through May, we will accept advance reservations. Extended stays get special rates, especially on weekdays. Call us directly at 603-744-3636 to get the best deals. Ask Sheila for a sampling of special packages or create your own.
We appreciate our wonderful guests, cute children and pets, creative groups, and glorious views. We hope nice people who treasure the natural bounties of the Newfound Lake Region will find as much joy here as we do.
Coppertoppe is a modern home with fun decor, lush house plants, art, books, movies, and comfy furniture. It is a warm, friendly place that comfortably sleeps four parties in two suites and two spacious rooms.
Children and pets are warmly welcomed as honored guests.
Guests enjoy a pre-ordered full breakfast with hot entrees, juices, fresh fruits and baked treats, coffees, and teas (Bill is a coffee guy and Sheila is a tea fan.) If you have special dietary needs or preferences, respond in detail to the Guest Information questions on your confirmation.
Almost any special dietary options are possible such as vegetarian, vegan oatmeal bake, and gluten-free treats. Allergy avoidance is a specialty so be specific about what you need. If you are gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, diabetic, or have any other food concerns, let us know. We are experienced and creative about providing our guests with safe and delicious meals. We understand how you feel from personal experience!
Whether you are a fussy eater, not a morning person, or love breakfast and will eat almost anything, we really want to know. How can we thrill you if we don't know what you like???
In-Room Dining Service
The tables in the dining room are safely spaced. Room service is an option. You can eat on your balcony or take a tray outside to the patio.
Every room/suite has a fridge and coffee/tea maker. Snacks and beverages may be stocked in your room. Tell us what you like and we will do our best to provide it for you. You can order take-out meals from nearby restaurants. Dishes and utensils are available for your use.
From 2 to 20, Coppertoppe is ideal for your elopement or small wedding indoors or outside year-round. Packages in addition to lodging for two nights include JP ceremony, flowers, cake, and a beverage of your choice. Your flowers and cake are made with your colors and flavor choices. Your ceremony can be simple or dramatic, with whatever you want to add or change.
This is your day, so we do it your way.
